David F. Donnelly , PhD

David Donnelly has explored the field of visual communications throughout his career. His recent work in still photography examines built and natural environments and the concept of place. He has a broad background in video, and his work has appeared on PBS stations and elsewhere across the country. See sample work at http://vimeo.com/4652935

Donnelly has also contributed to eight books and numerous scholarly and popular press publications. He has worked in higher education for over fifteen years, as a both a Professor of Communications and Dean. He holds an MA and a PhD in Communications from the University of Massachusetts, Amherst and a B.A. in Radio-TV-Film from the University of Maryland.
